Director of Technology
Matt is passionate about using technology to make the world a better place and brings more than 15 years of progressive software development and management experience – spanning the medical, environmental and telecommunications sectors – to the rapidly growing team at Tyze. Specializing in building world-class software development and technology organizations, Matt provides direction based on a customer-focused, quality-centric approach and a firm belief in the importance of intuitive, human-friendly systems that make technology transparent to its users.
Matt joins Tyze after having most recently spent seven years filling various roles (including Director of Research and Development and Director of Process and Planning) at Parasun Technologies / Integrated Broadband Services where he contributed to growing the company from 20 employees to 350 while increasing annual profit by over 300%. The challenge of successfully scaling the team, the tools and the delivery platform through a steep growth curve is one that he knows well; he is excited to be involved in a similar opportunity with Tyze.
Outside of the office, Matt is most often found on his motorcycle, writing a song or building strange, noisy, glowing things out of vacuum tubes. He enjoys listening to most types of music, eating most types of food, reading good books and exploring new places.
